Broad Security Review

Real breaches do not stay inside one test's scope. A BSR assesses your whole product as one system, so the chains between components are found, not missed.

Book a scoping call

One review covers

  • Web applications and their business logic
  • APIs, documented and undocumented
  • iOS and Android applications
  • The cloud and network infrastructure underneath
  • Third-party components, integrations and CI/CD

Why it is different

  • One team with context across every layer
  • Findings chained into real attack paths, with severity to match
  • One scope, one timeline, one report
  • Remediation prioritised across the whole system, not per silo

Web applications and APIs

Scanners find the obvious. We test the logic: what a signed-in user can reach that they should not, and what happens when requests arrive in an order nobody planned for.

In scope

  • Authentication, sessions, MFA and SSO (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML)
  • Broken object and function level authorisation (BOLA, BFLA)
  • Business logic, race conditions and workflow abuse
  • SSRF, injection, deserialisation and request smuggling
  • REST, GraphQL and gRPC APIs, including undocumented endpoints

Aligned to

  • OWASP ASVS 5.0, at the level you choose
  • OWASP Top 10 and API Security Top 10
  • Grey-box with source or documentation, or black-box
  • Every finding exploited, never just flagged

Network infrastructure

From the internet edge to the domain controller. We look at what you expose to the world, then assume a foothold inside and map every route to the systems that matter.

External

  • Attack-surface mapping across DNS, certificates and cloud ranges
  • Exposed services, VPN appliances and edge devices
  • Forgotten hosts, subdomains and staging systems
  • Password spraying and credential exposure analysis

Internal

  • Active Directory: Kerberos, ACL abuse, delegation, AD CS (ESC1 to ESC16)
  • NTLM relay and authentication coercion
  • SCCM, hybrid Entra Connect and Tier 0 exposure
  • Segmentation, lateral movement and EDR evasion paths

Cloud: AWS, Azure and GCP

In the cloud the perimeter is identity. We find the permissions, trust relationships and misconfigurations that turn one leaked key into control of an account.

In scope

  • IAM privilege escalation in AWS, Azure and GCP
  • Entra ID: token theft, consent abuse and Conditional Access gaps
  • Instance metadata, storage, secrets and exposed managed services
  • CI/CD OIDC trust, serverless and cross-account paths

Approach

  • Configuration review against CIS benchmarks
  • Assumed breach from a compromised workload, key or user
  • Read-only access by default, agreed in writing
  • Findings mapped to the exact policy that needs to change

Kubernetes and containers

One compromised pod should be a contained incident. We test whether it is: how far a workload can reach, and whether it can escape to the node or the control plane.

In scope

  • RBAC abuse and service account token exposure
  • Privileged pods, hostPath mounts and container escapes
  • Network policy and east-west reachability
  • EKS, AKS and GKE workload identity seams

Also covered

  • Image, registry and supply-chain review
  • Secrets handling and admission control
  • Control-plane, etcd and kubelet exposure
  • Hardening your platform team can apply

Mobile applications

An app runs on a device you do not control. We test what it stores, what it trusts and what its backend will accept from a client that has been taken apart.

In scope

  • iOS and Android, static and dynamic analysis
  • Runtime instrumentation with Frida
  • Certificate pinning, root and jailbreak detection bypass
  • The APIs behind the app, tested in full

Aligned to

  • OWASP MASVS 2 and MASTG
  • Keychain, keystore and local data storage
  • Deep links, intents and inter-app communication
  • Authentication and session handling on device

Social engineering

Most breaches start with a person, not a port. We test the people and processes around your technology, carefully, and with the goal of better training rather than blame.

In scope

  • Adversary-in-the-middle phishing that captures sessions past MFA
  • MFA fatigue and OAuth consent phishing
  • Help-desk vishing against password and MFA resets
  • Physical access and badge cloning, where authorised

Handled with care

  • Rules of engagement and legal sign-off before any contact
  • No collection of real passwords or personal data
  • Results reported by process, never by name
  • Debrief material your staff can learn from

Not sure where to start?

Most engagements start with one conversation about what you run and what worries you. We will recommend the smallest test that answers the question.
